Srinagar, Jun 06 (KNO): Srinagar’s markets were bustling with shoppers on Arafah Day, the day before Eid-ul-Adha, as residents hurried to purchase essentials and festive items for tomorrow’s celebrations. The lively atmosphere reflected the excitement and devotion marking one of the most significant festivals for the Muslim community. A local shopper sharing his experience told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the markets remained jam-packed today as everyone was busy buying last-minute essentials. He said, “Eid is tomorrow and the festive spirit is everywhere. It is heart-warming to see families coming together and purchasing goods.” Meanwhile, the authorities have stepped up arrangements to manage the crowd and ensure smooth movement in key market areas.
